Had the spoons and the calendars. Only smoker in the family died from it when I was very young, my grandpa, and I have his ashtrays right here in my office with me.Comment

O my gosh!!!! I'm 31 years old and the Giant Wooden Spoon and Fork on the Wall are still hanging up with a picture of the virgin mary between them.I told my mom it was time to retire the fork and spoon.I didn't think anybody else has them.Just funny to see them posted here.Comment

Perhaps not all in my house but definitely all those items were at one relative's house or another. I always wanted to try to eat with the big spoon.
My Gram also had a wall clock that was shaped like a huge wristwatch with the band unlatched.

Neither of my parents smoke, but we had at least 10 different ashtrays all stylishly-shaped and earth-toned. No String art. The kitchen had the hanging linen but it was a display of different herbs and spices, no calendar. It's all good!Comment

10 YEARS LATER AND I'M BRINGING IT BACK BABY!!
A new list of things that seemed to in so many homes back in the day. How many of these ubiquitous 70s things were in your household?
One of those creepy Russ Berrie or Love Is... statues.
Anything mushroom shaped, but these canisters in particular
Jean Nate might have been assigned to all women between 1970 and 1979
You at least knew somebody with lucite grapes on their coffee table.
They came in the most 70s shades of brown, yellow and green, but you probably had the orange Tupperware pitcher push seal
Brushes, soaps, bubble baths... who didn't get an Avon product back in the day
