Which Of These Items Were In Your 70's Decor

There a couple of things I remember from my house as a kid that I have since learned were pretty ubiquitous back in the day. I was wondering if any of your parents had any of the following things in your house-

    A Linen Calendar

Giant Wooden Spoon and Fork on the Wall

    String Art

    Earth-Toned Ceramic Ash Tray

    A Wall Hanging Copper Plate

The giant fork and spoon graced the wall of my grandparent's place. Wonder where they got to...

We had a kitchen witch and several linen calendars, but I actually bought the witch at someone's yard sale. As you can imagine, mom was thrilled.

              String art yes.

              LOADS of macrame.

Handmade candles in rainbow coffee mugs.

              Tole painting.

Giant puzzles of still-lifes with old wine jugs and grapes and guitars, shellacked and framed.

1973 Playboy centerfolds (field of flowers, straw hat, au naturelle) shellacked to rustic looking boards hanging in dad's garage.

My dad had linen calendars made in the US with my pic and that of my brother on it. We also had a copper plate on the wall, but I don't think we had the other stuff, not that I can remember

We had all of the above. My best friend used to get his butt beat with the big spoon. My grandma still has a mushroom shaped foot stool from when I lived at home. I'd like to restore it someday. Macrame of course. We had a table that hung from the ceiling by macrame, it's in the attic yet. Of course incense burners, I have an owl and a hand made out of ceramics. Good Times!

Hey BTB, I picked up an avocado green mushroom foot stool at a garage sale about 3 years ago so I know what you're talking about!
