    More Azrak Hamway Monsters

Some great new variation figures added to the AHI Monster Gallery today, cataloging these is a bigger chore than I imagined, below we have wrist jointed Dracula:

Man he looks ****ed that someone stole his shoes! These jointed wrist versions are the closest things to Mego, but for some reason they all have the Wolfman's hairy chest (gives the figures a little bit of a Sean Connery thing going on) and their clothes are really susceptable to dry rot. Hard to find them in good shape.

"Vere is my shoe?" This is a cupped hands variation of Dracula, I'm not completely on solid ground here but I believe these may have been the very last monsters to surface. I've heard everything from them being released in baggies to these not even being official AHI merchandise (That seemed to happen a lot) but four figures were released in this series. If you have pics, please send 'em.

Here is the jointed wrist wolfman, the only figure that the hairy chest makes real sense.

On the Jiggler front, the Creature from the Black Lagoon finally makes an appearance:

Now, if I could only get him to stand for a picture...

I've spent a little time upgrading and organizing the growing AHI Monsters section of the site, check it out.

Ah, I wasn't aware the jointed wrist versions were also associated with the hairy chest variation. Good pickup on that.

These are so addictive. I've even molded the heads and painted my own. The sculpts are really incredible if you take away the crappy paint jobs.

The AHI section looks great. Awesome work there. Good show. Pip Pip.

That jointed wrist Dracula sure looks ****ed off
It's amazing how many sculpt variations one figure can have. The jointed wrist Drac, the cupped hand Drac and the early hard head Drac all have different head sculpts

That top Drac is actually frightening! But he kind of looks like an undead Ross Perot.

The Creature jiggler has obviously murdered someone recently. Why else would he have blood on his hands...er, fins?

Great stuff. I can see how this line (and all its various cousins and offshoots) could be addictive.

Kind of maddening really, I never seem to be able to finish my set because I can't agree on what style to collect.

Great updates. Love the AHI monsters. I can see why it is tough to focus on which aspect of this line to collect. I have found myself focusing on jigglers one day - and then suddenly feeling a strong desire to get the bend-ems the next. And of course, I'm always drawn to the figures. You have done a great job trying to document the wide variety of this line!!!

I have to admit, the sheer amount of variations have made me a bit intimidated to start collecting this line.
