The home bar craze in the 1970s (ours was orange with a white and gold speckled counter) is something I fondly remember but I have to wonder how many folks had to stare at this day in and day out.

I have nothing against Anheuser Busch (partially thanks to them I don't remember much of my frosh year) but if I think having this in the living room says a lot of things about you, not all of them good.

When I was growing up we had a burgundy bar in our basement. My parents finally got rid of it a few years ago. Now it holds dvd's.

I have a bar in my living room. And I'm gonna build a second one downstairs.

I recently had to remove one of the seven bars I had in my living room to make room for my hanging egg chair.

Totally foreign to me as my parents did not drink (well my dad used to drink a beer on occasion, but that was before my time). But I've seen it on that 70s show!!!

The huge wall unit I've posted before had a built in bar, but nothing like that. Still it was cool, 2 shelves, mirrored interior, we kept all different kinds of wine and cool crystal stemware, some in colors. The colors were my fave. Each member of the family had their own color for special occasions. I had a little cobalt blue stemware shot glass for Cold Duck on New Years. I also remember my mom always had a stash of rock candy in there for me. Ahhh, memories.

My Dad was such a Bud man back then. They brought back all kinds of junk from Busch Gardens in the mid 70s, and the sheets in our sleeper van were Budweiser.

Yep, that's them, though I could swear my mom actually made them herself with fabric from a store.

I only wish I still had my giant Bud piggy bank.

I would have killed for those sheets in college. Too funny.

My friends parents had a bar in their living room,it was cool as we would play Pubs LOL

Why is it that on most home bars, they always have a pineapple shaped ice bucket?

"Sleeper van !?" Reminds me of some of my brother old Van customizing magazines. Furry carpet, a round bed. tinted bubble windows. . . . .

As for Bud. About a decade ago Ifound a bowling shirt that looked just like those sheets in the back of dads closet. I didnt know it was treasure.
