It's been a long time between updates. I have immediate and extended family in the hospital and haven't been home much the last month. But, I have had time to get some boots on Flash. Next update, Jay gets ankle wings and some soul!

I had skipped the lightening on his legs. Thought it looked to busy at the time. However, looking at the figure now I'm not so sure.
    Hmmm.
    Hey! Check out the pictures.

He looks amazing. Or rather they do. I could live without the lightning on the legs. I'm blown away.

Really, you're right not to put the lightining on the legs of the pants. One of the first things dropped from the original design. Going the distance with the boot wings and souls should complete this Golden-Age Icon! Sweet Job, Troy.

It is a busy look. I'm making 10 total and was thinking about doing 5 with the leg lightening & 5 without. Hmmmm. Perhaps I'll make some lightening out of tape just to see how it looks before I commit.

Thank you so much. My wife's sister has some rehab in front of her, but she is going to be just fine. My Grandma, on the other hand "sigh". She needs a lot of love and a lot of prayer.

Awesome work - I need to get one of these! This is your best work since your red suit Captain Britian.

I hope that you all didn't mind me pounding the forum with all these picks and updates. I had shyed away from doing this in the past, but I found that it really helped my to stay on task. I might do the same for my next project.

OMG! That's the golden-age Flash done right.
When I first saw the head sculpt, I thought you should not have done the wink. Then I pictured it (in my mind) with both eyes open and that didn't work. Then I pictured it with both eyes closed. Way too Max Fleicher Superman. That's when I realized it was perfect just the way you did it.

I usually go for as generic an expression as possible. That just didn't work for Jay.

That is so Golden age. Sure the hat ROCKS!!! but I gotta say. The expression and style of the head sculpt is a hit out of the PARK!!! If Mego was to do a Golden Age figure. This would be IT!!! That is so MEGO!!!
