    Battlestar Galactica

Been working on more Battlestar customs, here's where I'm at so far.

Here are some guns I made using a mold made of sculpey, the guns are super flex sculpey and are somewhat bendable

And my first attempt at the Viuper Pilots helmet, also made using flexible sculpey

I'm not crazy about Apollo's head, I have another in mind that I want to try for a better likeness.

Nice to see the real Battlestar Galactica getting some attention again!

Great suits, and the guns look perfect. I can almost see Mego doing this line just like this back in 78'! (Is the LJN guy in blue Commander Adama?...need a better pic of him!)

really good head choice for Starbuck. Who'd have thunk Jefferson would work.

Looks awesome. Jefferson does look great as Starbuck. Suits are looking great too.

Wasn't there a 'Randy Mantooth' figure for the Emergency line..? Would he be good for Apollo..? Apparently he did try out for the role originally, but it went to Hatch.

Looking good! Next you'll have to work on the flying motorcycles from Galactica 80.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

                      I like them!

I never knew that there figures for 'Emergency'.

Now I have to go and look them up!

If the figure looked at all like him it would have been great. Unfortunately it didn't. Plus he had a smile and it works for Starbuck but not for Apollo. Apollo was always the gruff, hey my undies are in the crack of my ***, my wife got killed by shiny robots, and my kids dog is a robot too, member of the group.

The LJN SWAT guy is indeed Adama, going to paint his hair white and finish up his costume. I was thinking that either the Cochise or Sitting Bull heads from CTVT might work for Apollo, but can't tell from the photos.

I love the costumes. Did you make those yourself, or did you get some Fearless Fonzarelli outfits and dye them?

What kind of boots did you use? Klingon boots, hero boots, or just plain black boots?

If you're going to be making these to order, I have a Jefferson D'Arcy that needs a BG outfit.

Let us know the status of the helmets. I just might get a few.

JediJaida, the jackets are Dyed CTVT Fearless Fonzareli jackets, and the boots are just hero boots with the tops cut straight. Costumes are pretty simple, just a cream/tan bodysuit with a collar made of felt. This helmet is my first attempt, and it was a pain, but if I can improve the process a little then I may be able to make a batch to offer for sale. I'll keep everyone posted.
