Best and Worst Dracula/Vampire Action Figures!

I decided I wanted to play this game too!

Best: Flattworld's Bela Lugosi is mind-blowing.

Worst: while I can appreciate the craft and detail involved, this one never really screamed "Vampire" to me.

Runner up for Worst: Gary Oldman as Dracula, but why the wolf-version? Once again, Macfarlane Toy's sculpts are great, but where is the "Action" in this figure? Looks great on the shelf, but posability and play value nil.

This Jakks Dracula figure has something I have NEVER seen on a Dracula figure...

It isn't that it has a Bela Lugosi likeness...
It isn't that it comes with a coffin and a rat...
          Ready?

It actually includes a bag of dirt (helpfully labelled "do not eat") to put in his coffin!

          Undead? More like FUN-dead.

Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

I really wanted the mego like figure . . shoot cant remember the company . . . They made a bunch of 6 inch James Bond guys and Get Smart?

            He was cool.
And I THINK Sideshow made a Dracula (finally) when they started out with thier awesome classic movie monsters. You know Mole Men, Metalluna Mutant, Phantom, Hunchback . . .

                I love my Flattworld Dracula.

And the Jakks one puts a smile on my face too...nothing like a suprise pack of gravel to complete an action figure! Mine is a bit different, like the candlestick is gold and the candle white. His face is a different colour too.

I have a soft spot for the Remco 9 inch Dracula. But that is driven by nostalgia, as opposed to the figure being the best Dracula figure ever made.

A company called Product Enterprise? There was supposed to be a Peter Cushing Van Helsing as well, but it never was released. Someone needs to kitbash the Star Wars 1/6th Tarkin figure!

I'm a bit torn about this one. This cartoony Dracula really doesn't look like much, but like all the Real Ghostbusters toys, it had a great action feature.

If Super Powers hadn't ended, you can just imagine what Kenner could have done with something like a Man Bat Super Powers figure that opens his mouth and flaps his wings.

I still like Mego's. He was ahead of his time with the Tux shirt.

My son has become a Universal Monsters nut. So we got him the Jakks Wolfman and Dracual for Christmas. They are both pretty sweet. The Bela likeness isn't great, but as said before, he comes with DIRT and a kicking diorama.

I remember being really tempted by those Real Ghostbusters monsters, but I had given up on playing with toys at the time, and I just couldn't bring myself to buy them.

That Christopher Lee is NUTS! I don't understand why Mezco or someone hasn't done a Hammer horror line. Who wouldn't want Lee Dracula, Reed Werewolf, and Pitt Carmilla?

I think the main problem is that the rights to the various Hammer characters aren't all held by the same studio. I'm sure it's a tangled mess of legal red tape, or we'd already have action figures of most of Hammer's top monsters.
