If he didn't pay it should be an open and shut case in your favor
Make sure you also file a non paying bidder report ... it will get you back your listing fee and also prove to ebay he didn't pay.

Yes, Ebay can remove feedback under certain circumstances. It's certainly worth contacting them.
i filed the non paying bidder report, and ebay just got back and said they will not remove it. it does not meet their criteria for removal.
I'm sorry. That really sucks.
That sucks but there must be something more to this than just the guy not paying and leaving a negative.
