I have noticed some of the LILI LEDY suits dont have the "Ledy Loop".Also i've seen a couple different styles of the emblems on Batman,Capitan America and Shazam.Did LILI LEDY start with their own unique style of both suits and emblems early in their production and then shift towards more of a MEGO style in the later production?

Not sure on the how and why of the look changes, other than the three factories and the progress of time. But the Ledy Loop is on most of the figures, except chicas and the big bellied ones. Have you noticed it elsewhere? Robin type three suit is found with no snaps as a variation and no loop there because of that. -
I maybe wrong but this Aquaman doesnt look like a ledy loop to me and i think i have seen another Aquaman that looked like this one somewhere.Comment

In the case of Superman and Batman, Lili Ledy definitely moved away from their own design and towards a Mego style emblem.
I know Ledy moved towards an all polyester suit like Mego later in production. Their first suits were all cotton.
Not sure on the "Ledy Loop". Except the Superchicas, Fat Bodies and Fist-Fighters, most of mine have some sort single snap looped enclosure.
Some loops aren't stitched and some have no snaps.
Here's a pic of Type 1 Aquaman, Type 2 Superman and Type 3 Robin (No Snap version):

Well compared to MEGOs two snap Aquaman,i guess its a loop.So the Type 3 suits were made of polyester? The Capitan i seen on the ForeignMego site(i think that was the site)had glue residue in the shape of the larger Star design, like what is on the Capitan i have.(Thanks Heath)
so thats why i was thinking the same emblem change with him.But i dont know if the more Mego like Stars i have seen are repro or actual LL.Comment

Now that you mention it, I have seen the Type Two Aquaman suit with no "Ledy Loop" before. I think I have a couple, in fact. I'll check them. In fact, I'll go check everyone!
We should make this part of the documentation. Thanks for bringing it up!
I would hate to leave anything out of our obsessiveness here.Comment

Thanks Bryan, most of the male Ledys have a very distinctive Loop, even the ones with no snap, there is a roundish curve either on the sides, bottom or both and you can see "skin" on the back of the Ledy Loopers. The Aquaman i pictured seems different and i know i seen one like him somewhere else, maybe in the pics you or someone else has posted.Comment

Only thing ignorant around here is your concept of SPAM. The pic was posted to sell your toy and has absolutely NOTHING to do with this thread.
Hijacking threads with SPAM and calling other members IGNORANT really doesn't bode well for you.Comment
