    Can I Just Say...

    Holy Cr@p.

1970s VINTAGE MEGO BATMAN MASSIVE LOT OF 10 9" DOLLS - eBay (item 220533595048 end time Jan-04-10 19:08:05 PST)

Is it just me, or does a down economy just drag everybody's basement out into the light? I cannot believe the volume of older T1's that have popped up in the past month. The rise of the estate/liquidation business is a real mixed blessing.

I agree. I can't tell you how many stirrup suit Superman figures, Batman cowls and Bruce Wayne heads I have seen popping up within' the last couple months.

Maybe we are all just getting closer to dropping like flys....

The sellers name sounds familiar - Did they not sell all those protoytype Apes and display boxes?

I've seen the seller before too, but can't remember from what.

TCM - that's the exact creepy feeling I get. A new RC Bats and stirrups are rotating weekly. My wife is friends with an 81 yr/old lady who has just as many dolls. She decided this past Christmas to start giving them away to friends and family because they can't go with her. Wonderful gesture, but at the same time, how many of the lots are from people who just went? I keep going back to this auction...put everything in perspective.
