I just purchased a bunch Knock off ken dolls dress in military outfits from a dollar store.
They all had body parts made of THIN blow molded plastic, the 70's head is nicely done with the mattel name ground out in the back of the head, I'm using them to display knock off 70's uniforms.

Here's a weird one: 9" Mexican Silverhawk knockoffs.

The bodies are obviously copies of the 8" Tong body, but with *more* articulation, which is truly odd for a knockoff. I also don't know why the 9" scale - the original toys are nowhere near that big. The paint feels hand-done, so I'd almost think these are customs, except for the standard accessories. The wings don't fit in the arm holes.

Each has a different head, as you can see. These are just weird all around. My best theory is that they were leftovers from something else and retasked to be Silverhawks. There are a bunch of 3" Mexican knockoffs on Ebay right now with the same look and accessories.

Not sure if these would go on here or not but these are just plain cool. Are they bootlegs? They can be construed as being bootlegs.

Sucklord's figures are 'art pieces' based on the whole bootleg toy look. Most of them are non-posable resin pieces. But they're still d4mn cool! I have a couple of his Micronaut-related ones, and displayed them at MegoMeet.

I've seen some pop up now again on ebay. Pretty pricey. Ouch! But high cool factor. Love this twisted blend on pop culture icons.

I love Bootleg stuff. Only problem is that there is so much of it and there is so little rhyme or reason, that if you see something you love it is really hard to acquire it.

Most of mine is just mixed into the collection.
Personally tha Max Steel Spiderman the movie figure is one of my personal faves. Then again I'm a Max steel nut.
                        Cheers,

                              Guy,
what can you tell me about the hulk on the far upper left (who's getting cut off in pick), and the one of similar size just left of dead center?

The cloth costumed Ferrigno Hulk. It's similar to the one in the middle.
Major prob with Mexican boots is that no two ever seem to look alike.
The best is on the bottom - a Marx style Ferrigno Hulk next to the MEGO Hulk.
Most bootlegs are Hollow blow molds, Solid Marx style, or Solid PVC
