In a way, I can't blame the guy for being sick of this character that he played 30 years ago that just wont leave him alone. Then again, it made him a name, and that name is probably what allowed him to produce and direct, so he should smile, say "hell yeah, I'm the Fonz!" and laugh all the way to the bank.

I hate to be pessimistic, but this is probably like a boring job to him, the closest he will ever get to working an assembly line. Its good money that he knows is silly to leave on the table untouched, but he doesn't have to like it. Sad.

My cousin Cliff and I both got a Fonzie for Christmas one year. Our other cousin Donny threw Cliff's onto his roof one day and we never saw Cliff's Fonzie again. Never had the bike, although that would have been "cool".

When I still lived in Reno, he visited the casino I worked in and played at some of the tables. We were forbidden from approaching him or speaking to him in any way, but that was a rule set down by our employer and not by Henry Winkler. Too bad, though. I really wanted to meet him. But had I disobeyed the casino overlords, I would have been fired on the spot. I was a big Fonzie fan as a kid. I had a shirt and everything. I have a picture of me wearing it somewhere, posing with a double thumbs up.

Really enjoyed hearing all the great memories about all of you growing up with the Fonz and Happy Days. That show was awesome! I too had the plastic Fonzie mugs. Yup 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time--ABC...Channel 7..I believe it was Tuesdays right?

I thought he was ubercool when I was a kid, and replicated his coolness when I rode motorcycles for many years I have several Fonzies now.
