I was a little sceptical before but... NO MORE...In person GA ROCKS. DO IT! BUY IT! Because when he's gone, he's gone. No way these prices will stay low on auction sites. The minute you can't get him anymore, BOOM! There goes the price. I guarantee it. I can't get over how good he looks. Man, this is just like a brand new Mego. One childhood experience left to have and that's seeing a display of these heroes at Toy's R US. Boy what a day that will be.

            Got mine today, hooray!!

Very pleasing & Megoesque, I even like the packaging (). I feel nine years old again lol.

My only quibble would be the leg and boot sculpts, but this will be somewhat remedied, I hear...

I think these will be a hit, and with kitbashing opportunities galore. Thanks so much, Doc !!!

My 3 arrived today. He's much more impressive than he looks in the pics. My card was kinda warped too, but no matter.

The only thing I didn't care for was his skin tone. Probably because I'm so used to the Mego suntan look. Still love at first sight though. I'm still floored Mattel moved on this idea. It doesn't seem real.

I received mine December 24th becauise I live in California. The card on mine was warped as well. Mattel just didn't use thick enough stock. The card is so flimsy they are all or have warped.

received my two today. can't believe how cool they are. I gave one to my son so we could tear it open and play with it. Very cool. I like that the boxing glove rotates on the arrow shaft so you can turn it right side up depending on how GA is holding the bow, of course would be better if the arrow was loose but no matter.

Can't wait for the rest of wave 1

Mine just got dropped off about ten minutes ago.

Very, very cool figure. I don't mind the stuff everyone initially complained about. THe weathered look for the card artwork is subtle and classy. THey even have the hero picuteres slightly off center in the circles to indicate a 70's printing error. The card stock is pretty flimsy, though. It'll make ripping into it later easier and less painful to my soul.

He does have some odd looking thighs, but I'm not concerned. Very vibrant colors used here. I am satisfied and happy.

I got mine today as well - - - didn't expect them until tomorrow. I have to agree that GA looks much better in person then he does in all the great pictures that have been shared here. I also don't have the heart to rip him off the card just yet. I like the whole look of the figure on the card and agree with the comments on the thickness of the card back. I feel like Mattel uses a heavier stock on the DCUC, but I could be mistaken.

I don't remember time ever running so slow since I was a kid waiting for Christmas, but he's finally here and standing on the shelf next to my vintage GA Car.
