I can't believe that can be done with $30,000...let alone $300...

The effects are better than most big budget Hollywood films.

Now that is severely impressive. What an accomplishment and what a reaction to his work. He's living the Uraguanian dream even though most of it's probably toast by now. Awesome video. Thanks for the heads up.

that is way cool BUT the camera they used to shoot it cost more than 300. the editing software cost more than 300. that is just the start - assuming everyone worked for free and they consider their considerable time worth $0 there is still thousands of dollars worth of expenses

Very well done. He deserves what he reaps from the hard work and talent he put into it. Regardless if it cost $300 or more to make, the key is he got a contract to work in his art medium. Bravo!! Glad to see more hispanic sci-fi movie makers coming up.

I have a hard time believing this only cost $300. This looks so cool, so real, so convincing. For $300 you'd expect effects that look even worse than Jaws 3-D
I bet Ed Wood spent even more money on his movies and we all know what the "effects" looked like on those.
Wether he spent $300 or more, whatever the case, this looks friggin awesome.
