    Presto Magix!

"Presto Magix were little rub-on transfer kits that provided some of the best ten minutes of fun a kid could ever have...The best part about these kits lie in their ability to make kids who sucked at art feel like they were actually pretty good at it."

    Yup.

Loved these things..great drug store purchases! I remember having Supes, Spidey, Bats and The Hulk. Many obscure villains were shown that you NEVER saw on merchandise...

        These were great fun.
My parents would always get my sister and I a set of these everytime we visited Grandma, just to keep us busy.

I had a couple of sets, though I can't remember what they were. Colorforms makes them too, I have a Michael Jackson set.

I had regular Colorforms instead of these. They didn't look as good, but they were reusable.

I remember having a Hulk and a Batman one. But yeah, after you were finished, that was that ("10 minutes of fun" is right). Nothing else to do but perhaps hang your masterpiece on your bedroom wall. At least with Colorforms, you could always make something new.

I had several of these. They were in a display box on the counter of the downstairs toy dept. of our town Ben Franklin's. I remember the Batman and Superman sets well.

They did have limited appeal. I bet I had at least 4 sets of each super hero. I was the kind of kid they were marketing to!

I recently bought an unopened Presto Magix Empire Strikes Back kit, at a local resale shop for $3. I remembered specifically buying this kit as a kid at the Ben Franklin's by my house, so I had to have it. I think these are pretty neat, actually. I recall wanting the superhero kits pretty bad as a kid. That Spiderman one is pretty cool.

I loved those when I was a kid. It was a good way to spend a afternoon.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?
