Plaid Stallions Triple Shot of Star Trek Model KIts

This amazing three pack of Star Trek model kits featuring The Enterprise (no clue as to why it's silver), Shuttle Galeilo (A kit I ruined twice, thank you) and the incredibly awesome Mr Spock kit was only $8 back in 1974.

I'm buying my son the Spock reissue this Christmas, I imagine it'll cost me $30 easy.

Same here.. I actually bought the Enterprise, Galileo, and Spock models twice, the 2nd time all looked MUCH better than the first attempts. I still have/display the Spock model..

    Great picture !!!

This Enterprise model is quite rare ... It uses the AMT Leif Ericson Galactic Cruiser stand ... Later rereleased as the Mystery UFO

I tried to put the Enterprise Bridge kit together as a kid. It didn't end well.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Worst kit was the older Enterprise kits ...

Before they redesigned the secondary hull with "pockets" to slip the warp engines in it was nearly impossible to get those engines on straight and stable.

I still remember having to wire the 2 warp engine struts together just so they stay upright.

I like how whomever built The Alden's kits just didn't bother with the deflector dish on the Enterprise "I'm sure no one will notice..." and how Spock wear the tricorder like a necklace.

Great models all of them. The good news is that all of them are slowly being reissued Yippppyyyyy, yes even the deep space base from classic trek cant wait.

long shot here, I still have my original spock model however, I no longer have the serpents body nor onr head, any one here have a space or just one laying around? I was thinking of getting the new one and seeing if it fits however I am unsure if it will, and at nearly 30.00 28 and change in my area, it seems like a bit of a waste esp with the holiday season upon us.

    Hmmmm....

Do I EVER remember those! It was building the Enterprise with the droopy nacelles that I learned about epoxy. And that weapons set got used A LOT! (One day I'm gonna get another one.)
