    No Green Arrow for tomorrow

    Just found this on facebook

Mattycollector.com SALE UPDATE! Green Arrow isn't going to arrive at the warehouse in time for the sale tomorrow so he's going to move to our 12/23 sale with Wave 11. All other products are arriving as we speak and will go on sale tomorrow. There might be a day or two delay in shipping as they still need to be sorted out once we receive ...them, but don't worry -- they're coming!

    Don't kill the messenger.

For some reason I'm not even all that surprised

Seriously, how do you just now find that out that you won't have them on-hand? I made work arrangements specifically for tomorrow to accomodate the noon sale time and now...it's for nothing.

Is it possible for them to look any more unprofessional? They have him listed one day and not the next, they don't show the final product till two days prior to sale and now they can't coordinate their warehouse issues. So no CHristmas delivery for us.

Now watch and they will be on sale tomorrow and we'll all miss it. They'll say ooops, our bad. I woudn't put it past them to screw up their Facebook entry.

I'm not sure I could be any more frustrated at this point. I still want the figure and I guess I'll buy it on the 23rd, but Matty Collector is obviously run by morons.

If they can't even get these figures right that only they sell on their own private website, how can we have any confidence they will get the product into stores in 2010?

Sucks for those of you who were planning on ordering tomorrow. I feel for you all. How awesome would it have been to put him under your tree and open him on Xmas morning??!!!??

I may miss out on GA all together as funds just won't allow for it right now. It would be a cold day in Hell for me to spend money on myself when I can't even get my kids some Xmas gifts this year.

I'm really sorry guys! I wsh I could help somehow.

I'm disappointed too - but I have no control over Mattel's internal operation.

My involvement on Green Arrow ended when the prototypes were delivered
    to San Diego.

Like everyone else, I have to order them through the website.

I just knew **** like this was going to happen.

I'll catch this "Green Arrow" figure on eBay about three years from now. No time to play games.

Ok, Question, So the GA figure is not in till next week, why can't they just sell them tomorrow as advertised, and then mail them when they come in next week? is that not the most logical thing to do?
I am truely not suprised this happened, however what does suprise is the companies unprofessionalism, the only think that would disappoint more is is when the figure ships the legs break apart or the elastic snaps, or the chest becomes unglued and mattel tells us fans, oh ,thats not a serious problem, just take some superglue and glue the chest back in place. If I spend my money on something, esp what this figure costs, I would want it to not break apart upon openning and I would not be pleased to have to repear it myself no matter how simple it was, now if the figure was older thats a different story.
