This is all very exciting news.
This line is totally focused on getting us collectors what we want, and we're getting "real time" info. I kind of feel we're part of the whole process.
      Great stuff!

These are great, Craig. Can't wait for their release.
Now let's do a clasic Battlestar Galactica line next!!

With all of the interest in BSG lately, it's kind of doubtful that the license will come cheaply.

Especially to a new toy company that is just starting out.

No disrespect intended, but those kind of licenses tend to go to big companies with equally big reputations.

But please GOD, don't let it be Hasbro, cuz they are a bunch of Has-beens!

I'm not an expert on this, but IMO Joyride, that did the classic BSG 6" figures and the spaceships as well as Majestic Studios, that did the 12" Classic Galactica figures are NOT really major toy companies. So maybe there's still hope for this to happen.

              Didn't Joyride studios close down?

And I have two of their figures, one of Apollo (sadly I lost the little blaster pistol right after taking it out of the package for display), and one of Starbuck.

The new movie coming out may change things, but until then, Classic Galactica licenses arent all that hard to get.

Well, you cant just buy one, but if you have a product to show them for review, you need to go through the Universal Studios Consumer Products group office. Last time I dealt with them the phone number was 818-777-5391. Again, last time I dealt with them, you had to ask for Debbie Luna (or Lunar?..it has been awhile). At the time she handled brand management. These folks tend to swap jobs pretty often.... If I were you, and your serious, just call them up and ask to speak to the manager in charge of Rights, clearances, and product approvals (thats an actual title believe it or not!...at least thats the title I have written down in my notes). tell them you wish to discuss the possibility of obtaining a license for BG, and tell them what type of product you wish to present (I assume toys/action figures).

A better question would be: Are you going to do Twiki?

Twiki will require his own tooling and be fully articulated.

Assuming series one sells well Twiki will be in series two.

I think Twiki should be a cardboard standee, with a big red target painted on him. He should also come with a BB Gun.

Not a Twiki fan...but you need to do him to complete the line, and I'll buy him regardless of my distaste for the lil' fellar.

This line wouldn't be complete without the old tin can!

I mean, who can resist a pintsize robot doing the boogie on disco music?
