What were your Halloween Movies this year?

I started out with Abbot and Costello meet Frankenstein (the kids could watch it), segued into "Plan 9 from Outer Space" and then ended with "Amityville Horror 2" which was awful.

      Hmmmm....

I had to work. AGAIN. I taped "Wolfman Mac's Chiller Drive-In" and plan to watch it tonight.

During Trick & Treat hours I watched "Hocus Pocus" and "The Nightmare Before Christmas". Later I watched "The Night of the Creeps". Over the course of the day/night, I caught parts of several movies on TV, including "Night of the Living Dead", "The Abominable Dr. Phibes", and "Young Frankenstein".

I started watching Jason goes to hell.
                              What a cr*p movie.

Jason dies in the first scene. Then his spirit hops from (boring) person to (boring) person. That's like tuning in to an Elvis special, and seeing amateur wannabee singers "attempt" his songs.

I then watched The Omen remake.
Not really a bad movie, but just about every scene was copied from the original. How easy was that? No wonder the movie is OK, as they xeroxed the original.
Give me $50 million, and I'll copy some more classics for you.

I finished it off with watching half of the Texas Chainsaw remake.
What can I say that's positive?
Well, Jessica Biel is really hot.
For the rest, they didn't have a ******* clue as to what made the original so effective.

So I've had it with remakes and sequels, thank you very much....
