Pictures of my Mattel Kozmic Kiddles Collection

I still think these are pretty darn cool even after all of these years

This is the one that started it all for me. In 1969 my sister got this cute Mattel toy as a present and I was always wanting it for myself but as I never got one myself back then I ended up asking to look at it a lot as I thought it was just the coolest looking toy - #3650 Yello Fello:

Then when my sister moved out after college in the early 80's she was cleaning out her room and came across this safely tucked away in a drawer. I asked if I could have it which she nicely handed it over to me (finally!) and I was a pretty happy camper. It's also about the only cool thing my sister ever gave me once we got older so it holds a special place in my heart for that reason as well. It then went into safe storage until just a few years ago when I came across it during our move. I then began slowly looking to obtain the other three of this four set of Kozmic Kiddles which as you can see here I have since happily obtained.

    #3647 Greenie Meanie:

    #3648 Purple Gurple:

    #3649 Bluey Blooper:

These are all in pretty good condition as you can see but I am always on the look out for better ones as we all do with any kind of collectibles.
These sit proudly on display on one of my display shelves just above my Prehistoric Scenes models.

I have never heard of those. Those are cool and if you had not mentioned that they are from the 60's I would have thought they were fairly recent. Thanks for the pics

These were part of the Little Kiddles line of toys form the 60s, which seemed pretty extensive to me - but I don't know much about them. I only ever knew of these Kozmic Kiddles, as my older sister also had one when we were kids.

These Kozmic Kiddles were also re-released in smaller keychain form a few years ago. They are pretty much identical, but smaller in scale and have a keychain attached (easy to remove). I have a few of those as the vintage ones are hard to find and expensive.

My dad sold these, bought a tractor trailer load on close out from Mattel and still talks about them. I think he paid ten cents each and sold them into stores at a retail of $0.88. They were all over our house growing up, we didn't save a single one.

Cool, I've never seen these before.

I'm digging that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang set on the linked page too.

Wow, how cool. And just look at what they are worth now!
You could have sold that truck load now and almost retired off of it LOL
