Trouble finding cover art to Guardian comic

    HEy all...

There was an independent company in the 80´s that put out a comic called the Guardian. As far as I know it only ran two issues. Am looking for the cover art to it.

Thank you so much! I wonder why the issues only went for 2.....I thought it had a great beginning.

I never read The Guardian back in the day, but I did follow Spectrum's other title, The Survivors.

Just stumbled across the answer to your question while thumbing through a collection of Steve Woran's Betty Page pin-ups!

In the interview included, what he describes sound like typical fly by night indie comics publishing back then... a collective of creators decides to publish their own work, they are under-financed, don't make enough from the comics so that they have to take other work, which results in late books, and talent flees to Marvel and DC. It sounds like their was a great deal of miscommunication as well... at one point there were two different teams or writer/artists working on The Guardian comic. Lee Weeks was part of the "lost" creative team on The Guardian.
