I have told my wife that I am planning on selling most of my collection when I retire and that I feel investing on collectible toys is safer than the stock market (which is probably true these days). So when I am opening up packages with new Megos, I just say that I am building up our retirement! She buys it every time!

Man, there were a few times where I was winning everything I bid on and I'm not a high bidder unless it's something I REALLY want so i was getting good deals too. Then all of a sudden I couldn't win a damn thing to save my life for a long time. Now I've been winning things again but I know that won't last.
Plus I've been really lax on taking pics and posting them in the New Acquisitions thread, LOL

yeah, I don't even tell my wife, she does not notice new toys in the display case. That is a good price you got on the cycle and copter though.
