I think my son would love it. I'll keep my eyes open for the Christmas season.

No, Megos weren't buff either, but this one just doesn't look right to me.

It's new, it's Ironman and it's 8", so technically the title is correct

I dunno, I was expecting a skinny, ugly, plastic action figure, weren't you?

Awe...come on BK. Just the fact that they're starting to make 8" Figures has got to be a good thing right? Maybe it's the start of a trend...and the Figures will get better. Or at the very least...some of the Heads might be in 8" scale...and we can use them for Customs?
Personally...I like this Ironman, and plan to buy one.

Just by looking at the way it's packaged, it reminds me of the roto molded toy biz stuff from a few years back, maybe it's a "figure" along those lines.

It is neat that they are trying to do an 8 inch scale though, and you might be right this might be in response to Mattel's recent efforts. When is Iron Man 2 coming out again? It might not be in time for a Christmas toy release.

Well, yes and no. If Mattel has authorised these 8" figures, is there any chance they'll authorise another 8" line?

That might work, if the sculpts are any good. And maybe some of these will come with in scale accessories

I think that might depend on how well Mattel's WGSH line does.
