Funny- in the 70s I couldn't have cared less about the BeeGees because I was a Star Wars-obsessed kid. Now I love BeeGees music because it reminds me of the 70s and vintage Star Wars toys. Go figure.

I'm really surprised that so many people on here like the Bee Gees. Not that I hate them or anything, they're just one of those groups that I'm used to people bashing. A lot of people don't realize that they kept writing hits in the 80s, they were just performed by other artists.
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

I wonder how many kids hit each other in the junk to try to sing like The Bee Gees?

There was a time when admitting you liked the Bee Gees or ABBA could get you stoned to death. My older sister listened to both in her tween years, and so I've always had an appreciation for both of them. Not a huge fan, but I won't change the station if they come on.

Back in the 70's I was into Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin etc.

I also secretly liked the Bee Gee's, ABBA, and disco but could never admit it to anyone at the time

Today it's "cool" to like them -- at least for nostalgia's sake
