Just saw this and had to add- Its truly stunning. Its creative, well-done and it looks like it could easily have come out of the Mego catalog. I would have believed it if you told me this was a recently-discovered prototype.
I have Anthony's Fortress of Solidtude and its amazing. And this was BEFORE Scott added the amazing Didas to our world. I honestly believe Mattel should take a look at this.WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.Comment

Man oh man is that an awesome display!!! Beautiful art, very detailed--both you and Scott take the best elements of "retro" and then make something that's new and pitch perfect. Any chance you could post some "farther away" pics that let you see the whole set-up, with the tri-boxes attached?Comment

That's a fine piece of work there! Makes my classic Hall of Justice look like a monkey shed. Love the comic book art work clipped into the pictures I recognized a few classic pictures. Nice work all around!!!!!!More custom Mego madness on Facebook right here...

Just found this while Googling custom Mego images. This is AMAZING work and damn near perfection. I would have died for this as a kid and would want to buy one now if this thread wasn't so old! (laugh), though I would want to repurpose mine for the Avengers. The JSA Brownstone one linked above is pretty sweet too. Nice job, again! Gorgeous!
