What's G-Mail ?

Whenever I list stuff on Craigslist I always get a million replies by people with G-Mail accounts.

100% of these are either spams or people trying to rip me off.

I've never seen one legit person with it.

I'm to the point that once I see an email say's G-Mail on it, I just delete it.

So what is G-mail and why do unscrupulous people use it ?

What? Mike, I have a g-mail account. I love it way better than AOL because not only is it free but they also don't throw out any mail unless I delete it...I have 11,000 e-mails. Most of it is old news but I like to keep all of my ape news stuff...

It really is legit, my main email account is with gmail. I've had it since Google was beta testing it and the only way to get an account was to be invited by another user. It's cool because it gives you a huge amount of storage, and it's easy to "google" your old emails for something you are looking for. It's the third largest used email program, so I guess the odds are you would get a large amount of bad stuff compared to most email services. But don't you see a similar number of spam/rip offs using hotmail or yahoo?

It's the one I use the most. I rarely check my comcast account anymore.

Got me Mike, my best friend has it. When it first started you could only get it by invitation from someone already with a gmail account. I declined since i just use hotmail. If i remember it was supposed to be clear of spamming and similar junk.
