Flash now Steve Gordon of the Herman Munster forehead gets sucked into a rift, like Stargate, and ends up on Mongo. Well a place called Mongo anyway.
Blond Aura dressed in a off the rack red bustier looking like a cheap Victoria Secrets model knock off.
Ming is no longer the Merciless and looks like a blond wuss in a black band leader outfit.
Dale is also blonde and uninteresting.
Zarkov is no longer the scientific genius that builds the rocket that takes them to Mongo. He is now merely the nerd assistance of Steve’s dad. All he is missing is the tape on the glasses to make his Revenge of the Nerds look complete.
There will be no space ships. The series instead borrows heavily from Stargate and will travel back and forth between the worlds through portals. Most of the series will be taking place on Earth anyways.
Anytime I hear someone say they are re-imagining something it immediately sends me a BIG warning sign. I have become to loath that word with a burning passion.
Translation of the word re-imagining: I do not have the talent to create something on my own so I am going to trash someone else’s work.
