Very cool, I've never seen that before but I like it. That Mego Spidey isn't there for scale is it?? If so, this thing would be huge, over 30 inches! Is that true?

yeah i'm sure it's atleast 20 inches tall. i wonder how much they cost $500-600 bucks maybe? it must be real rare , i never seen one in person, or heard anyone talk about it. it looks like he's from spain i would guess. never released here.

I remember the guys at Spiderman Collector talking about this, it was a pretty big deal for them. That's not very helpful.

I remember seeing that over there! Spidey's huge, and he's got a unibrow! Plus, he's fighting Blue Devil, or Mephisto in blue!

Somebody posted about these way back on the old MegoMuseum boards. If I remember right he has some kind of "web shooting" (ie fires a plastic missile) action built into one arm...which is probably why hes so darn big.

So this thing is over 2 feet tall (70 cm according to that ad) and shoots missiles? It's like a Jumbo Machinder Spider-man, I want one! What year was it released?

Not sure about the missle shooting, but the thing is huge. Has a "unibrow" and really wide hips (insert your own joke). The Mego spidey is there for scale purposes. I think it was released in 1980, as was most other Vicma Marvel merchandise. Pretty sure this went for between $400 - $600.

Hello, im spanish and i have one of this spiderman jumbo.
the size are 60 cm, about 24".
in original had a poster, with spiderman fighting with Mephisto and Doctor Doom. and very accesories type tiroline, but i havent got any accesories, only the figure in good shape, and the suit, with very scratches in legs and back. The date, 1981
When i have time, i try to take more good photos without suit.
