Catalog Update: Off to See The Wizard!

Thanks to MegoScott for taking the pic of the Emerald City Playset and assorted Ozians. (I think that's the correct term...?)

Down to the wire...just the cover and back page left I think.

Hey, good job, me! That turned out great. Cool layout, Anthony.

These are great customs, but I fear SOME may not actually make it to the shelves unless the retailers really support them.

Yeah they'd definitely be tough sells. I "toyed" with the idea of separating them into 2 packs to maybe entice potential toy dept. buyers: Aunt Em/Uncle Henry, Professor Marvel/Miss Gulch, Winkie Guard/Flying Monkey. But then the farmhands would either have to be a 3-pack or one would be paired up with the Witch of the East. Didn't think that'd fly though.... The other alternative would be to pull the Wizard out of the playset (which I sort of did) and put him in a 2-pack with Marvel and put Gulch with WWofEast. But that would be confusing...

Well, put me down for a dozen flying monkeys!

    Didn't Gulch come with a Dinah-mite bike?

put me down for ALL of 'em.

Nice looking stuff. Who did these customs? and do you have a link to the bigger artwork?

awesome, as usual. And yeah, trying to figure out how to pair them up is a doozy. Perhaps Mego would have included some in a deluxe Witches castle ala the Enterprise with crew? Perhaps some included in the Munchkinland/Farmhouse set as well?

Submission: Wizard of Oz - Mego Talk

    It's Mike Lo's stuff.

He did submit the bike, but I guess he couldn't get Anthony the full size image.

    Mego Talk

Mego MIGHT have included all kinds of things, but there is a limit to what we can do on each page for reasons of space and what we actually have available. I'd have loved to include the Munchkinland and Castle, but don't have em. I think this is more than enough for our cause.

That looks great. I really like this line...I think the figures were well designed.
