Wow! God bless everybody that made this possible and Paul! I was just thinking about how to try and make "retro" figures from Paul's site for my new son to play with in a couple years when he's old enough. If I can get him to talk before the mego meet this year ('10) I'll try and teach him to say "Thank you." Paul did a great job holding a secret too! Paul never even flinched when I asked him at the meet in '08 if you had plans on making superheroes after making Star Trek.

FANTASTIC NEWS.... just awesome...everything I have read about the line seems spot on...I think all the right choices were made...It's so cool that my son is going to be able to go to the store and get the same toys I had as a kid....congratulations to all who made this happen..especially Paul, you should be proud of what you have made a reality.

I wish someone would take a shot of Sinestro from a different angle. His face looks really flat in that shot and it's making me nutty!

Ladies and Gentlemen, The World's Greatest Superheroes

This is a dream come true!!! Kudos to Doc Mego and all others involved. after viewing clearer pics of the 1st wave, I can easily say " I'll be spending much money when these babies are released". Looking at the high resolution picture it looks like Superman will have his correct eye color "Baby Blue". Thanks Doc. They All look GREAT!!!

Oh man Oh man, wahoo!!!!!!! THis is AWESOME news!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They look fantastic, like they jumped right out of the Superfriends! Coolness, my son was looking over my shoulder at the pictures, first thing he said was Mego didn't make those 3 guys. It was a proud moment. The boy knows his mego's

I have a question for Doc. Will Green Arrow only be available from the Mattel site or will you be getting some to sell on your site as well?

This is awesome news. I really like the look of the new figures. Alos interesting that only 2 of them were actually Megos- the rest are all new! Way to go!

I assume all the parts are interchangeable with vintage mego? Not sure if I like the body shape.

What about the heads? Are they going to be harder like Doc's Mego heads or soft like the other ToyBiz 8in cloth line?

Thanks again guys and great work!

                              So....

....who's gonna be the first to complain about these reducing the value of the originals?

I gotta say; they look great! Not too old school, not too new school. I'm hoping they end up being sold more as toys than collectibles though. Thay way maybe they'll make LOTS more.... and eventually get around to some of MY favourite characters. (Who tend to be "third-stringers" at best.)

No DC collection is complete without Ambush Bug and Brother Power.
