Sorry for being uninformed here, but I was never into superheroes as a kid. My MEGOs were limited to Apes and Star Trek. But can someone tell me when the original MEGO superheroes were released? Is there some info about them here, what was released, etc? Thanks...

Wait so only available om Matty Collector and at TRU ? I am so excited about this ! I just don't like dealing with Matty collector, everytime I attempt it gets sold out before I can get it to take my order. I'm hoping they'll reconsider and plan a better way to purchase.

Yeah, according to toynewsi, Green Arrow will be an exclusive pre-view figure for the line exclusively at Matty this Fall and the rest will be sold at TRU starting Feb/March 2010.

This is incredibly cool news. It's great that they will differ enough from original Megos, yet it's very encouraging to see that Mattel "gets it" when I hear things like retro style, faux aged cards, and making sure the sculpts are "Mego innocent" (I love that term ). I am so buying these for my son (and I) to play with. Great work guys!
