My husband got me watching this. The kids were always amusing. But Kate did start to annoy me after a while with her rapidly inflating ego. They're local celebrities where I live. At one point, they lived in the next town over, and the local news follows every move they make, even though they've moved a little further out of town. I met Kate once, and she just seemed unpleasant. I didn't realize at the time that they were from this part of PA, so I asked to make sure it was her. She really looked down her nose when she said yes. I just told her I liked the show and walked away. There was no way I was asking her for an autograph, she'd probably have bitten my head off! One of my husband's coworkers had a similar experience, earlier in the show's run and before the tabloid stuff got started. He said, "Are you Kate from Jon & Kate?" And she looked at him and said, "Yes. And no."(As in no pictures or autograph, although he didn't even ask for one.)Originally Posted by toys2cool
