This is a great comic series, and although the cover is a rip off of POTA, Kirby had worked on his idea for this a full 10 years before Planet of the Apes showed up on the big screen.

Years ago I use to dismiss a lot of Kirby's DC stuff and later work. What a fool I was - Kamandi is one of the best action comic series ever!
