    I Hated The Meet

I hated having to see tons of awesome figures and stuff just laying there on the dealers tables rather than in my collection. I hated being reminded of my talentless-ness by all those AMAZING customs, not to mention the oh-so-talented customizers. I hated spending waaay too much money filling holes in my collection (Yeah, I'm talking to you, Berto, and your deliciously skinny-booted Batman!). And I especially hated being reminded that I can no longer just take my "guys" and go a few doors down to play Megos whenever I want. Now I have to travel to Wheeling to hang out with a bunch of really cool people and talk dolls, pop culture and other cool stuff AND I only get to do it once a year.

    Man, I hate that.

I hated it too because I couldn't be there!! But...lots of wonderful stories and photos from everyone!!! I live vicariously through you the members here. I would never be able to unshackle myself from the fetters of marriage to get to the Megomeet. Usually it's the guys who are geeks. In my case it's me...

Amen! Thankfully the "hanging with cool people" part is the true highlight.

I hate that its only like a day and a half. Oh well. I was broke half way thru Sat. My big regret was missing out on Dave Lee's Rayder Figure. (Implied and misspelled on porpose.)

Wee, I hate being reminded of my own inadequacy at these events as well. I sympathize.
