The body design I'm working on is in the MEGO scale but totally different from what is currently available, and has added articulation. ... it's not held together with elastic bands.
Oooh.... I hope I'll be able to get those in bulk!! Eventually different colors too!

Yes, the bodies will be available in bulk. Trust me, I'm well aware of the customizing community and I'll do my best to make them happy.

        Hopefully with better delivery time.

I ordered something from someone, who shall remain nameless, way back on May 5, and STILL have not received my order!

I know that they have a lot of orders to fill, and that they have regular jobs, but this long of a wait is a bit much.

I've bought stuff from others here and got it within DAYS.

Needless to say, I'm more than a bit disappointed.

I know all too well how important good customer service is so that won't be a problem.

Dude! I love you! In a totally platonic way, you understand.

I can't wait to see your prototype.

If it's not held together with rubber bands, then what does hold it together?

Is it going to be like the obitsus, or ball jointed dolls/figures?

We need some good ones in 1:9 scale.

The design is pretty much like the modern 1/6 scale G.I. Joe bodies but with modified articulation. Some of the MEGO purists might hate it but I think most will be happy with the new design.

If it is as indestructible as the modern 1/6 scale GI Joes (and has additional articulation Mego-wise), you may have even more fans knocking down your doors.

Agreed, many of the purists might howl but hey, many others (including myself) will welcome it!!

Wish you and your business venture all the best (and I know I will do my part, orderwise.. )

I know I'm taking a risk by straying away from the traditional MEGO body design but considering there are already 3 companies offering that style I felt it would be best to do something different.

One thing I want to mention is that the torso will be designed just like the MEGO version in regards to how the heads are connected. This way most, or hopefully all, original MEGO heads and custom heads will work with the new body.

Now THAT is what I call thinking not only ahead, but outside of the box!

I used to love playing with my older brother's GI Joe figure (one of the original ones), but unfortunately, he passed it down to his daughters, and they tore poor Joe to pieces.

I wonder if I can have him restrung.

Trust me when I say that fast shipping and providing tracking information will be top priority when it comes to filling orders. This is how I've handled my ebay business for the past 7 years and so far I've had plenty of happy customers.

So, you use to be Speedy? Cool....that means a lot!

Any chance we can see the body? Its not under any contractual restraints is it?

I can't wait to see the new body. (Is it male and female?). Megos are extremely hard to pose for the kind of shots I want to take.
