The Ranger 3 started as a badly damaged fiberglass copy of one of the studio models. I had it for nearly 10 years before I finished restoring it, taking molds, and making the final piece in the picture. There were two other variations of the same ship (one used in Buck season 2, and one in BSG) that I also built from castings out of the same mold.

A little background on my Twiki- it is a modified Mego large-size walking Twiki toy from 1979. I shaved off the Theo and reshaped the chest, created new legs, repositioned the arms.

This is the same thing they did for the only 'miniature' shot of Twiki from the Buck Rogers series. The shot was from the episde 'Twiki is Missing' where Twiki ejects from a Starfighter cockpit and is floating in space.
