    The Green Goblin's Flyer

OK. I got some time here.
Working on a custom Green Goblin flyer using pieces from the Famous Cover's Green Goblin flyer.

What color is this thing? Comic books make it appear gray and sometimes a light blue sapphire color.

What would be a good safe color for his flyer?

    Hmmmm....

Go with a steel grey/gunmetal colour. In most pics it seems to be a dull metal lookin' thing.

It's basically tarnished silver or grayish. The light reflecting off the metal is what gives it the color sometimes.

        I used this one:
        http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_4OYGjUrdll...scaled_600.jpg

Goblin himself is ugly as hell (so toss him!), but the glider is perfect for Megos. This Goblin has really big feet for its scale, so a great match for Mego feet.
The wings are positionable, and when resting on some see-through plastic cubes, it seems to hover like it should!
My Goblin was so happy, he was grinning!

Not bad of a Goblin flyer but I went with what I got laying around the house. I managed to get someone to take the bag of junk Famous Cover body leftovers off my hands for 20 bucks but I am utilizing what I kept.
I cut down the goblin flyer but I am not sure if I am going to keep this paint.

I finished getting the scuptley and wires to stay in place, I am going to add paint later to it to create the illusion of smoke.

You think this is the right color?

That's a pretty good colour match.
I like your idea for the "smoke", too!

Dare to be different! Paint it Viper Red with chrome accents and yellow pinstripes. ...and a bumper sticker that says "I Brake For Pumpkins!"

As for a glider itself....didnt they make one to scale for the 360 line a couple years ago?
