Yes, Much thanks to Ivaniski for the heads up on this. That was very cool indeed.

EMCE stuff and CTVT stuff is not even comparable. Especially at the figure level. Once ya get past the "Hey I need a repro Knight shield or a Pirate hat", the CTVT desire falls off quickly. I did like the Space 1999 idea and grabbed those. Will probably end up with the Married with Children stuff too cuz I loved that show, but there's not a real lot after that. The Munsters stuff looked cool and so did the Lucy line but the quality was just so bad. I bet of the Space 1999 line I got 4 or 5 that were damaged, and from the repro'd lines like Knights, Pirates, half of em were crap. They were good to make my figures look complete until originals can be found but the bodies got dumped in a giant ebay lot. Too bad cuz I think some of their stuff would have done well if it hadn't been for the quality issues.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

            Yeah.

I almost ordered the Pirates and Knights and Robin Hood but I hear the quality is awful.

I guess I could buy them and swap them onto Doc bodies but I can't afford it at the moment.

I'm in the process of swapping all of my Space 1999 CTVT bodies with Doc Mego's.. love the 1999 costumes and head sculpts but the bodies break when exposed to air .... or light ... or the slightest breeze ... well, a slight exageration

Yeah, That is really too bad about the CTVT figures. There was some real definite potential to be had there. Thank goodness other people have stepped up to the plate such as Doctor Mego. I have some loose EMCE's and they are very well made and very tough compared to CTVT. I think the swap out on the CTVT clothes and accessories to another vendor of better quality is the best way to go if you plan on actually posing any of the CTVT stuff. I have yet to order anything from Cast A Way yet either myself. I want to place an order with them some day. I am just waiting for all of the dust to settle right now from them getting caught up on their past orders.

I just wonder how many more of these EMCE's that they have left to sell? FAO must have purchased a whole crap load of them or something. After missing out the first time around I thought that I was going to be told sorry Charlie. The worst part about that is that my name is not even Charlie. As much to my surprise my order was taken along with my debit card info. Now seeing is believing. I just have to sit back and let the order packers pack and the shippers ship.

Now if they would only put the rest of them on sale as well. I know wishful thinking on my part. That would be totally awesome though. I can always use more Sulu's and anything actually EMCE. Especially at those prices. Wow! Still kind of hard to believe. Some one pinch me already. Who would have ever thought that these would have been offered at this super low price?

This is what members at the Mego Museum is all about. Sharing great info and helping one another out.

                      UPDATE:

I just checked one of my bank accounts tied to my debit card that I used to make the purchase. The purchase has been approved. Even despite not getting any kind of a confirmation it is looking even more promising now that I have seen this amount approved.

Now as long as some other odd debit charges doesn't start showing up suddenly from Las Vegas. Such as other weird store purchases, brothels, casinos and what have you then I believe that I am pretty much in like flint on receiving my order.

I hear you on the loving to open packages. Every day is like Christmas for me and my gf here. Here is a typical weeks worth of packages received.

Ohh, and let us not forget about the back seat as well.

I think I am just going to buy me a dump truck as it would be so much easier for me to unload everything. Just back into my garage and pull the lever to dump and wallah!

Yeah, As one can imagine. The mail man really loves me. NOT! Especially on the big and heavy packages.

Yeah, You can sure type that again. It is called collecting spiraling out of control. I am in the process of having a new building built just so I can keep on keeping on with buying and storing my many different collectibles. I really want to be able to display more and talk less about my collection. That scenario is getting closer to being a reality. At this rate sometimes I really am not even sure if I already have some stuff or not. I just go and buy it again to make sure. I know this because at times I have run across doubles and triples of some things not even seriously looking.

I know what you mean. I have 2 small collecting-display rooms (one of which doubles as my office/den), (thanks to a VERY understanding wife) and STILL occasionally rotate through some parts of the Collection since there is not room to display it all.

Still, that is SOME picture... are you certain you don't have one of the mailman... you know, the one with the hernia???
