Yes, I did read it and while it is a little different it is still the same rant about how the media is crap for doing this. It's not that I disagree with you but why feed the machine?

And AS a media ***** (maybe that should be my new title ) let me tell it is exactly this or any interest in subjects like this that drive SOME in the media to try and guess what will interest you.

We did NOT report on this, but the we were aware of the report which only actually hit on a Jacksonville radio station. I do know in our newsroom we heard abou the report and then tried to confirm it through Swayze's agent. He told us it was not true and we moved on.

BTW, I don't mean to come across as offended or even upset. I've seen my colleagues do enough damage to understand where these impressions come from.

Jacksonville radio, eh? Florida radio is on par with those college radio stations that anyone could volunteer and get on the air. Unfortunately Florida radio has a frequency stronger than just the other side of the campus.
Larry the Cable Guy is easily the smartest man on the radio down here.
