Ever since my system went to Explorer 8 I can't open links here

Any ideas on what Explorer 8 did to my system? I can't figure out what security measures it changed that would do this. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm no expert; but it sounds like there's some sort of blanket security setting that includes a feature that blocks links. I'd go to the security settings tab and moneky with the slide bars, and read what comes up at different settings.

Yes, my computer skill is enitrely of the "push buttons and see what happens" variety....

Yes. I hate Explorer 8 as well. Especially that nagging "site capability" button at the top. I have found one work around for my problem. When I hold down the control key while I'm pressing the link, it will create another screen tab which has that website from the link. So that temporarily disables whatever feature is blocking these links, but I can't figure out what is actually doing it. I even turned off my popup blocker, but that didn't change anything either. I wish I could just go back to my Explorer 7, but when I tried restoring my system to an earlier date, it still reintroduces me to Explorer 8 when I log in. This bites!

Is this a forum issue or are the galleries bad for you as well?

It's any forum on the internet. The links you have for Dida Displays do nothing when I click on them.

Download the free Firefox or even Google Chrome. Get rid of MS BS IE!

I sure am glad that I changed over to Firefox some time ago. It took me awhile to finally decide to take the plunge and now I am glad that I did. Especially when I read stuff like this with IE8. Best of luck to you on resolving your issue.
