Trek Review Needed on C: Robin Hood, Pirates and Knights

OK, I need feedback. My youngest is game for getting the Knights http://www.classictvtoys.com/superkn...chfigures.aspx from Classic TV Toys. Do they hold up to being played with? He's 10 and a half. We are going to play with these.

    What's the word?

I JUST REALIZED that with these and Emcee, I can have:
    • Kirk, Spock, Leslie beam down to ...
    • The Shore Leave Planet with the Knights...
    • And run through the Planet of the Apes area...
    • And meet Robin Hood's Merry Men (I was thinking the Apes would be in a Jungle/Forest but I guess in the Original POTA they were in the Desert...

They can even fight Space Pirates! Lol. Too cool! With Brady's help Trelane could be responsible for it all...

So I may need to get them all. Will they hold up (are they better suited for leaving on display which doesn't interest me)?

    Thanks in advance.

imho; ctvt are perfect for kids. Not so much for adult collectors as the bodies do have some issues. I have had a few problems with broken body parts in the past, but at $5 a doll, it was not a very big issue. They also have had a good customer service dept. for me.
If you have a problem with the bodies, you can always swap the clothes and head onto a mego or doc body.

The Knights armor is a little tricky to remove if you want to swap it to a new body, as it's glued on but I have all the Robin hood and knights figures from CTVT and have ended up using everything but the CTVT bodies for parts. Definately worth the price, IMO.

I had a couple classic TV toys figures and i'd never give them to a child to play with unless I wanted to see the kid cry when the figure breaks 5 seconds after you give it to him.

DEFINITELY switch the bodies! In a child's hands, they're a ticking time bomb..

Fun figures and definitely worth having IF...IF... you can convert them to Doc Mego bodies or vintage Mego bodies. The forearms, feet, and lower legs break off without having to do anything to them.

Thanks for all the comments. It looks like they will hold up best if I swap them on to Doc bodies. Thanks.
