How much for the Tricorders and/or when will they be available?

I guess you might still be looking for your Strap material though. I still haven't posted the pix I promised.

FINALLY just ordered 6 Tricorders and I have to say Paul is "Captain Above and Beyond." Order from him while you can.

Amen to that! Can't wait to see mine. I'll post some pix when they get here. A landing party I'm sure.

I SOOO want Black phasers and communicators.

And I wish Doc would make the "Belt" so that the Phaser can be on the right hip and the communicator on the BACK right. That would rule.

I suppose I should be able to make my own from cloth now that I think of it... or even just string. Hmmm. The Phaser would be easy. Not sure about the comm holder though.

You could buy an Art Asylum Classic Trek figure and take its weapons/tricorder. These are still in stores - I see them at TRU all the time. Though I'm unsure if the communicator closes and would fit in a doc mego belt:

By the way, that tricorder looks fantastic!!!
The Playmate stuff is super, you just have to know which to use. I use the 3-4" phaser/communicators, and the 9" tricorders (I just remove the wide silver strap and glue on a nice black rubber cord.

    I haven't had a need to repaint.

I was just in ToysRUs today. They had a lot of Trek stuff on clearance. Has no one ever made a mold of these and repro'd them in black? Could that be done with Sculpey? I have no clue. I bought Sculpey once but I've decided I'm going to have to farm everything out to get my project done. Maybe for Christmas...

The Diamond art asylum command chair for 7 in figures works great with the Megos and its very detailed.
