    Average prices in Europe

I live in Belgium and I have a collection of 176 EMCE figures. I try to buy those by complete sealed case. I do not have unfortunately all the boxes of each set.

I buy mainly my figurines in Belgium (Brussels - 1 supplier), in France (Paris - 2 suppliers) and in England (2 suppliers). In the majority of the cases, I receive prices of good customer. However, the prices are more important than in the United States. The prices vary with the rate of exchange Dollar - Euro, the expenses of tax and transport, the commissions of the distributors and the suppliers.

I calculated the average costs on the basis of these five suppliers and on the basis of a price “good customer”. Here my results:

    • Star Trek – Series 1 : Kirk (1st Run in 2007) – average cost : 21,85 EUR ($29,91)
    • Star Trek – Series 1 : Klingon (1st Run in 2007) – average cost : 20,87 EUR ($28,57)
    • Star Trek – Series 2 : Spock (1st Run in 2007) – average cost : 18,49 EUR ($25,31)
    • Star Trek – Series 2 : Andorian (1st Run in 2007) – average cost : 16,98 EUR ($23,24)
    • Star Trek – Series 3 : Dr. McCoy – average cost : 20,74 EUR ($28,39)
    • Star Trek – Series 3 : Romulan – average cost : 20,62 EUR ($28,23)
    • Star Trek – Series 4 : Scotty – average cost : 19,38 EUR ($26,53)
    • Star Trek – Series 4 : Keeper – average cost : 19,38 EUR ($26,53)
    • Star Trek – Exclusive : Khan – average cost : 23,43 EUR ($32,07)
    • Star Trek – Series 5 : Uhura – average cost : 20,63 EUR ($28,24)
    • Star Trek – Series 5 : Mugato – average cost : 20,63 EUR ($28,24)
    • Star Trek – Series 6 : Chekov – (no average cost because this figure is not in stock by my different suppliers)
    • Star Trek – Series 6 : Cheron – average cost : 13,40 EUR ($18,34)
    • Star Trek – Series 7 : Sulu – average cost : 19,38 EUR ($26,53)
    • Star Trek – Series 7 : Gorn – average cost : 19,38 EUR ($26,53)
    • Star Trek – Bridge Play Set – average cost : 55,00 EUR ($75,29)
    • POTA – Series 1 : Cornelius – average cost : 21,88 EUR ($29,95)
    • POTA – Series 1 : Soldier Ape – average cost : 20,88 EUR ($28,58)
    • POTA – Series 2 : Dr Zaius – average cost : 20,00 EUR ($27,37)
    • POTA – Series 2 : Zira – average cost : 20,00 EUR ($27,37)
    • Night of the Living Dead – Series 1 : Graveyard Zombie – average cost : 20,11 EUR ($27,52)
    • Night of the Living Dead – Series 1 : Ben – average cost : 20,11 EUR ($27,52)

As I seek to improve my collection, you would know suppliers who would be ready to make good prices (with the transport costs and taxes for Belgium) for cases (8 figures per case) of the following sets:

    • Star Trek - Series 1 : Kirk + Klingon (2nd Run in December 2008 – January 2009)
    • Star Trek - Series 2 : Spock + Andorian (2nd Run in December 2008 – January 2009 - Spock with gold bands)
    • Star Trek - Series 6 : Chekov+ Cheron (2009)
    • POTA - Series 1 : Cornelius Soldier Ape (2008)
    • Night of the Living Dead – Series 1 : Graveyard Zombie + Ben (2009)
    • Golden Age Commander X (December 2008)
    • 1950's Commander X (January 2009)

I thank you for your help.
