Plaid Stallions Battle of the Planets Rack Toys

American kids kind of got the shaft when it came to "Battle of the Planets' merchandise, a board game, some models and these generic rack toys by Gordy. Which while fun in their own right were likely recylced from something else and would be again.

Some of these toys however are hard to find now days, I'm pretty sure I've never seen some of these on the secondary market ever.

Looks like Gordy got the logo and one piece of art to use for this whole line.

I really liked BOTP as a kid. I didn't understand much of what was going on, but I knew they had cool costumes, and they were supposed to be birds. I was 3 or 4, so cut me some slack! I would have liked to have had some toys from this show, for sure.

When you take into account how big this was in the 70s,yeah American kids got the shaft when it came to toys. I don't know what was more popular to pretend to be on playgrounds more, this or Batman.

God I loved Battle of the planets.....my friends and I would play act the characters we even had the Princess (my sister)

I was dying for action figures of them as a kid. I do have now The Cy girl Princess and the medi com figures of Mark and Jason to my delight
