How hard are these to find?

That seem pretty high but original Madelman figures tend to go high. There's a following in Spain. I have the Indian and he's about a tall as the Robbie Knievel figure. I guess Superman appeals to more than just Madelman collectors.

About 10 years ago I passed up on a MIB one for $125.00 and I don't regret it.

In real life it's a horrible looking figure in a display box that doesn't match anything else in ones collection.

    I wouldn't pay over $30.00 for one.

^^ Yeah, I've always thought the Madelman Superman looked sick...and not in a good way.

That does seem expensive to me. And be warned, apparently the limbs sometimes snap even in the box. I have never seen one in real life, but they have always appealed to me so I keep a search running...

I got mine back in 2003 and paid 50.00 bucks. I have a friend is Spain that is selling one for 300 euros, so is about the same i think???

    Yep, that's the one.
I have him, in his Supercar (yeah, when you get tired of flying, go for a drive!).

Personally, I love them. Tons of accessories, you have astronauts (including the only 2001 astronaut action figure), sets with three figures, the works. They are highly collectible, especially in Spain, the country of origin. Last year I sold four, at about $750 a piece.

Buying a MIB one for $50 (40 euros) was a steal!

True, sometimes their limbs are fragile, but then again, I've seen enough carded Megos (like Torch) with snapped limbs. I've had mine over 20 years, and they still display great!

And remember, these are figures from the late 60s!

I passed on one at Outer Limits a decade ago, I don't even think they wanted $100 for it and they were pricey.

It's kind of a neat piece but you really have to like Madel Man and or Superman, I can live without it.

I grew up with these guys, so they have the sentimental value of Action Man and Mego to me...
