Plaid Stallions Amazing Space Lego Display

The Big Toronto Toy show was this past weekend and while I went home empty handed (well, save for the Barbie my daughter bought)I really dug this giant Space Lego display they had going on.

Space Lego completely rules and I've always envied it's collectors (including my own wife) I just love those happy smiling space people. Anyway, my wife is working a similiar display for our home and as much as I'll love it, I will also wuite feel inferior thanks to this amazing display, thanks a lot Toronto Toy Show!

The head in the way is really my fault, seeing as I passed on the "Big Noggin" gene...

I also managed to make this video of the events, sorry for the "Blair Witch" effect....

I had several space lego sets back in the late 70's early 80's. I hope to someday get some of these sets again.

    Amazing display.
There's a shopping mall here in Belgium (in Kortrijk) where there'll be lotsa of Legos on display this weekend for the 50th anniversary of Lego.

That's awesome, thanks for taking pics Brian. So can we look forward to a space lego display from your wife too?

Wow what a cool set-up! Thanks for thinking to record it Brian.

I was watching the movie and thinking "Why would they have the old fashioned steam train style track around the outside?" when into the picture rolled that blue space train, like something out of Ark II

    Cheers!

    Neat!

It looks almost entirely like classic Space Lego stuff.

Funny thing; the only other Lego display I've ever seen that was this good was back in the late 70's at the Toronto Eatons center.
