    12" Ramirez WIP

After recently finishing my 8" Highlander figures i decided i'd like to have a go at doing a more accurate Ramirez in 12" scale.

The body and gloves are made by Dragon ( i'm sure Mego would be using similar bodies if they were still producing figures now ).

I already had the head done and came across the outfit on ebay, it is from the Ignite 1/6 French Guardsman. I submerged the outfit in household bleach ( with a small amount of water ) for a few days and the colour came right out. I just need to dye or paint it now.

I bought a 1/6 metal Katana on ebay, luckily these come with the handle detached. I cast the handle from the Sideshow Connor Macleod katana and attached the metal blade to it.
I'm waiting on a pair of boots for him.

Here's an updated pic of my 12" Ramirez.

There's still a bit of work to do on him but i've been working on a full size Ramirez mannequin for the last few months.

The first pic didn't show up when I clicked on it, but I liked the second set of pics. That is a dead perfect likeness of Sean Connery, and the outfit is great too!

Great job on the 12" version, but I'm looking forward to the full size version

Here are a couple progress pic's of the full size Ramirez, i know they're a bit dark but it's the best i could get at this time:

The head is made of a plaster like material, from a life cast of Sean Connery i got off ebay. His pony tail is from a wig i got off Amazon.
The suit is being made by a professional costumer and should be ready in the next few weeks.
His hands are latex and the right one will hold a sword.

Unfortunately a real sword is too heavy so i will have to make one with a wooden blade and lightweight handle.
