My son has become a fan of this series of books "Michigan Chillers" and it's counterpart "American Chillers". He has a particular favorite called "Aliens Attack Alpena".
Of course there are no toys available for these, but he never feels that's a problem. He assumes the old man can just make anything he wants out of a spare Mego body, some material and some sculpty.
So not wanting to disappoint, and armed with a book cover picture and no sculpting talent, we proceeded.
Now, before looking at the pics, I just want to make sure all you "Aliens Attack Alpena" fans know I'm not going to start cranking these out for sale!
The final result is a masterpiece of custom artwork.
Okay, so I'm STILL not a sculptor. But at least I scored bonus points with my son.
I can't remember where the hands came from. James Brady bought a few sets years ago for the Tellerite custom. I think maybe Don did these?
