    I came across this Ted Talk by Adam Savage of Mythbusters fame and I thought you guys might enjoy it.

    I think a few of you could probably identify with him in this video. (I mean that in a good way!)

    As a side note, he mentions this site as one of his resources: The RPF - The Replica Prop Forum It's too bad they're not taking new members right now, are any of you guys on this site?

    I am but to be honest it's a ver clique site and I stoped posting there after being constantly told that the stuff I posted on my refe site was from the dr who site

    I recently joined, but I'm hoping to learn some prop-making skills and haven't posted much yet. So far, I haven't had any negative experiences. Some really talented people on there.

    Yeah, the talent and knowledge base seems huge on there. I kind of expect it to be cliquey - most forums are anyway. Come to think of it megomuseum is probably the most welcoming forum to newcomers I've joined.
