1986 Remco AWA Mat Mania figures RARE - eBay (item 270356768968 end time Mar-21-09 07:06:42 PDT)

I'm not really surprised, I knew somebody who collected these back in the 90s and they're one of those things that really flew under the collector radar. He was telling me back then that certain MOC pieces were hard to find.

I used to have a few loose ones but sold them off a few years ago.

I picked up the Rockers (loose) for like 40 bucks

other rare figures are the early 80's new japan pro wrestlers i know they made andre, the butcher, dory funk and a few others the packaging kinda looks like the takara star wars.
most likey just as htf as some of the palitoy wgsh and other super rare mego items but not as nearly as pricey cause of the market.

These were kinda like the SW POTF figures if I remember. After the hype and popularity had worn off. They never sold and were just vamped up versions of the original figures Remco did. Best thing for a mass produced toy is for it to be unpopular. Those are the ones all the vintage collectors usually chase. Remember Nightmare before Christmas stuff. A year after it was 90% off on clearance the stuff was selling for $60 a carded figure or more. I've seen other 80's toys sell MOC for over $200 so these aren't super outta there but where will they sell at in the end?
    GFY!!!

I had them all sold them to my uncle in 92 for $25

Those listed are 5 of the rarest ones and usually command about $500 a piece,so $1000 for the 5 is a sweet deal
